DetailsIn Clamav Package is no clamav.rotate included,
and /var/run/clamd.pid connot created, because /var/run/ owner is root , and in clamav.conf is User clamav defined. |
This task depends upon
Does your /etc/logrotate.d/clamav not exist? I have that file on my system here, although it's usefulness is still to be determined.
You're right about /var/run/clamd.pid, still working on a solution to that one.
please try:
pacman -U ftp://ftp.archlinux.org/extra/clamav-0.72-2.pkg.tar.gz
let me know if this fixes things for you, if it does, i'll commit it as live.
The pid file is moved to /var/run/clamav/clamd.pid, and the logrotate script is configured to use this pid (instead of killall).
thank you for the quick fix, all will be fine and works :-))
