Since gnome 2.6, linc is deprecated and integrated in orbit2. Packages shouldn't be built against linc anymore.

Linc itself also has a dependency bug: Why should I have to install gtk-doc and intltool to have a library on my system?

The reason I did this in the past si because orbit2 had a dozen gnome deps which many users did not want and many pkgs did not need. The orbit2 deps have been cleaned up so I'll switch to orbit2 now.

Okay it looks like all 4 pkgs that still depend on linc are not mine.

Jason:
balsa glade

Dale:
evolution

roberto:
pyorbit

I'm gonna pass this onto you, Jason, when you're done with removing linc, pass it onto next person. roberto.. let me know when you're done, I'll delete linc

Looking at the .la files in /opt/gnome, I find a few more references to liblinc.

gtkhtml gal

These need to be updated before I can do balsa, so I will pass this on to Arjan.

Roberto, rebuild pyorbit (yours, i asssume) so that it doesn't depend on linc, then reassign the bug back to dorphell.
