Description:

After i installed bash-completion when i open gnome-terminal it says me:

bash: complete: --: invalid option
complete: usage: complete [-abcdefgjksuv] [-pr] [-o option] [-A action] [-G globpat] [-W wordlist] [-P prefix] [-S suffix] [-X filterpat] [-F function] [-C command] [name ...]
[emmc@gVm ~]$

i've added this to .bashrc to get bash-completion working:

#begin
if [ -f /etc/bash_completion ]; then
. /etc/bash_completion
fi
#end

and everytime i open a terminal i get that error message (bash: complete: --: invalid option).

Hello,
This bug is 2 months old, do you still have the problem ?
Do you have this problem with gnome-terminal only or with other terminal as well (xterm is a good choice for testing) ?
Also can you tell which version of the following packages you are using : bash, bash-completion, gnome-terminal ?

I'm sorry for the absence... I have no more this problem... it was caused by a bad gnome-terminal installation... in fact reinstalling it... all worked good again...
