DetailsThere is an issue in tar 1.19 that affects both file-roller and KDE's Ark.
There is a description plus patch for gnutar 1.19 here: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-tar/2007-12/msg00001.html This is the root cause of the problem reported here http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=312933 It's not a file-roller/KDE-Ark bug but rather a regression in gnu tar 1.19 (it worked fine in 1.18) Please take a look. Thanks. |
