We have a new german mirror who will mirror archlinux.

The IP for rsyncing is: btr0xq.rz.uni-bayreuth.de (132.180.7.30, aka rsync.uni-bayreuth.de).

uni-bayreuth.de offers a traffic shaping 1000 MBit/s
- max. 200 ftp users
- max. 150 http connections
- max. 20 rsync connections are allowed.

This mirror blocks connections from pacman (wget does work). @Sven: Could you ask the mirror admin about this? Otherwise we should remove this mirror again.

and btw: the mirror seems to sync from gwdg, so I would assume a rsync access to gerolde would not be needed, right?

@Pierre Properly, the Mirror is synchronised with gwdg (rsync://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/linux/archlinux/)

pacman connections are now ok, admin has granted login access for "libalpm@guest".
Mirror is now full usable.
