DetailsDescription:
Since I updated 2.6.23 to 2.6.24 I can't obtain an ip-adress from my AP anymore. Networkmanager doesn't even start, so i tried to connect with iwconfig. it works until I try to obtain an ip adress with "dhcpcd wlan0", the dhcp-request gets a timeout and dmesg prints "WEP decrypt failed (ICV)". It's the same when I try it with an static ip, i can't ping my AP (host not reachable) but iwconfig says I'm connected to it, and dmesg reports the same as above. Additional info: System : Thinkpad T61, Intel Wireless 4965AGN Repos: Testing, Base, Extra, Community Kernel: kernel26 2.6.24.1-2 (base) Steps to reproduce: ifconfig wlan0 up iwconfig wlan0 essid "..." key ******* dhcpcd wlan0 |
