Description:

Perdon by my English

I work only with console, i do not use Xwindow, i use frame buffer matrox y kernel 2.6.23-14, the system configured to UTF-8 but the keyboard mode unicode operate only on the first VT.

I added the following in rc.sysinit And now works OK.

if echo "$LOCALE" | /bin/grep -qi utf ; then
stat_busy "Setting Consoles to UTF-8"
---> - /usr/bin/kbd_mode -u
for i in $(seq 1 63); do
---> + /usr/bin/kbd_mode -u -C /dev/vc/${i}
echo -ne "\e%G" > /dev/vc/${i}
done

This is a good soluccion?

Thank you.
