DetailsDescription:
Suddently no suspend to ram and fans don't start automatically Historical: 1st - Suddently, my fans didn't work anymore, so i took the laptop to repair. They say everything was fine. 2nd - I checkd, on windows everything works fine. 3rd - I also lost suspend to ram. Additional info: * System up to date * Laptop: Toshiba Satellite Pro 6100 So I have to assume that at some point acpi got broken. Now I can turn on fans manually via a helper application for toshiba hotkeys (fnfx), but hd keeps heating up and up... till i go to dangerous levels. i google a lot... completely lost... closest things i could find: * sensors-detect fins just smartbatt module support, but smartbatt module is not available * write support to trip_points go lost... and hd temps are set to 98ÂșC! |
