DetailsIf you don't want your mysql database in /var/lib/mysql, then you edit the /etc/rc.d/mysql file. For instance i wanted it in /home/mysql since my home drive is a raid 1 array. When I update mysql it overrites it. It would be nice if /etc/rc.d/mysql was added to the backup section of the PKGBUILD.

I've added an /etc/conf.d/mysqld configuration file. You can change mysqld's root dir from there.
