Description:
As soon as the kernel gets loaded after the grub screen, whether the failsafe or the normal kernel, the system crashes with this info:

(The "ÉÉ" is oddly flashing with a grey background. This is a marvelously consistent crash.)

Install Virtual PC '07, install arch, install the latest kernel, boot with no options other than standard or with i8042.noloop to work around the mouse bug.

Seems to be a BIOS-Bug. Report to MS or use VirtualBox :-)

we are not fixing bugs in emulators that is an upstream issue of microsoft
