As reported by Slashdot : http://it.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=08/02/10/2011257 I have tested the proof-of-concept code linked in the article on i686, kernel 2.6.23. It successfully gave root priviliges to a regular user. Attached the exploit as linked in the /. article (in case of slashdotting)

3th bug on this subject. this is fix in the last kernel from core. 2.6.24.1
