Description:
In shutdown process, network service always fails.
I think there's a bug in the network initscript:
Assuming that INTERFACES=(lo) is set in rc.conf,
the function ifdown (/etc/rc.d/network) tries to shut down $ifcfg (= the dhcp part of INTERFACES=(eth0="dhcp")) if dhcp not set. Here my suggested patch:
