Description:

All is in the title, when i try to install expect and expectk, it tells me this :

/usr/bin/expectk exists in both 'expect' and 'expectk'
/usr/man/man1/expectk.1.gz exists in both 'expect' and 'expectk'

The package xsmbrowser, which depends on expectk doesn't work.

When i try to install xsmbrowser it install already expectk but when i try to launch xsmbrowser, it tells me "unable to load libexpect"

Then, if i force installation of expect, i can launch xsmbrowser but it doesn't works well : i can't click on any button. It doesn't works.

In my opinion, there is two possibilities :
first, remove expectk from expect package and add expect to expectk dependancies.
second, integrate expectk into expect package and replace expectk by expect into xsmbrowser dependancies.

ps : i think the first possibility is better.

Additional info:
extra/expect 5.44.1.4-1
extra/expectk 5.44.1.4-1
extra/xsmbrowser 3.4.0-2

Steps to reproduce:
Try to install expect & expectk simultaneously or try to install and use xsmbrowser.
This task depends upon

I think that might happen due to makedepends=('tk') that Tobias added in during the rebuild for tcl/tk.
@ Kevin & Tobias: please use http://downloads.sourceforge.net/tcl/ instead of http://heanet.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/tcl/ ;)

@ max-k: please do not use capital letters - this is not the best way to bring attention to a report. ;)

It looks like the --without-x option doesn't do anything now. Awesome.

Is this still an issue? Also from the applications page "Alert: Version 5.44 of Expect has been recalled due to unresolved problems. Please use 5.43.0. All links below point to 5.43.0 - Don"

yes, it still seems to be an issue, since both current expect contains /usr/bin/expectk atoo, and some packages depend on expectk package.
