By default totem-plugin requires Totem, but in Totem, there is no way to configure the drivers it is using so that Videos displaying by totem, and totem-plugin, are so awful. If we can compiled totem-plugin with Totem-xine it will be helpful because in Totem-xine, it is easy to control as well as configure the drivers that totem will use. At the moment, If I install totem-xine, pacman will not allow me to install totem-plugin Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: |

The problem is that when you do pacman -S totem-plugin Pacman will search for the first package which provides totem and will install the totem package, not allowing user to choose totem-xine instead. This is a well-known limitation, that may be fixed in next pacman versions.
