DetailsDescription:
The postgres.so library file in the ruby-postgres binary package is linked against libpq.so.4. The current postgresql-libs package contains libpq.so.5. The ruby-postgres binary package needs to be rebuilt to link against the current library files. Also, the source URI in the PKGBUILD appears to be invalid. The source tarball is available on the main web site. Additional info: * package version: 0.7.1-4 Steps to reproduce: Try to install the ruby-postgres package on a system which has the current postgresql-libs(8.2.6-1) package. |
