Description:
I think would be nice to have the postgresql contrib directroy (contains many extensions and utility) available on arch.
It's just a "make" away it could be also in a separate (postgresql_contrib ?? ) package.

Additional comments about closing:  I will not implement that for now. In the next postgresql release, im going to take a look at this.

Could you submit a patch with the change you need ?

I would email the package maintainer if you haven't gotten a responce. It might be that compiling your own version with abs is the best option.
