Description:
Hi. Bug which I can't describe again - just look on screens (:

On other terminals there is all right. But, other terminals haven't true transparency turned on. Anyway - without xcompmgr it isn't working correctly too.
Additional info:
* package versions
rxvt-unicode: 9.0-1
weechat: 0.2.6-1
ncmpc: 0.11.1-4
ncurses: 5.6-6
system is up-to-date.
* config
~/.Xdefaults: http://wklej.org/id/0075849b98

Steps to reproduce:
Turn on real transparency; xcompmgr; urxvt and weechat/ncmpc.

Sorry for my English, I hope you understand me.

is this urxvt version 9.0-1 or 9.01-1?
does this happen only with "real transparency enabled?
AFAIK doesnt have real transparency but only pseudo transparency.
can you try with latest version 9.02?
have you tried contacting the developers of the application about this?

It's 9.0-1 - I've tried also with 9.0-2 from French repository, but there is the same error (when I turn off real transparency too). And I haven't tried with 9.02, only with versions from repo. I will contact with devs.

try the irc channel if you can. i was chatting with them this weekend trying to solve another bug and they are very cooperative

is that still an issue in 9.02. I strongly consider it an upstream problem btw.
Comment by Tobias Kieslich (tobias) - Wednesday, 13 February 2008, 02:56 GMT
I really think this is an upstream issue, and on top of that, even urxvt's manpage states that transparency/true alpha support is hacky. I can second dolby's statement that the urxvt guys are very cooperative when you approach them in a constructive manner.
As a bug report specific to Archlinux this will be closed tomorrow, I can't see this behaviour in my daily work with urxvt(not transperent/composite stuff enabled).
