Works fine for me, although Xv seems to be broken with catalyst which I can work around by using another video output mechanism. Please try x11, xshm or sdl as video output driver and report back.

Hello,

Can you please give a short status about this bug as it as not been updated since a long time :
In particular do you still have this issue with the recent xine-lib 1.1.12-1 and kaffeine 0.8.6-2 ?

Also when reporting bugs do in a terminal :

export LC_ALL="C"

before launching the software in the SAME terminal.
So that the output will be in the default language (english most of the time) for the software used.

Thank you very much !
