The plugin (a shared object) can't be loaded since it is somehow badly compiled/coded. There's a debugging macro AUDDBG that should be expanded to nothing, instead the shared object gets created with an unresolved symbol 'AUDDBG'. Additional info: * package version: 1.4.4 Steps to reproduce: Load audacious from a console. You'll see the statusicon.so file won't load because of this missing symbol. Proposed Fix: use CPPFLAGS='-DAUDDBG' ./configure ... |

Checked on i686 - statusicon works fine there. Seems to be an x86_64-only problem. I'll try a rebuild and post it here to see if it worked, and if so move the rebuilt version to extra.

Can you check audacious-plugins 1.4.5 against x86_64 please? I'm hoping they've fixed this upstream. If not, I'll add the -D flag and rebuild.
