DetailsDescription:
After starting openttd or Maelstrom the game windows are all reddish. This happens when my X resolution is something other than 8 bpp. (My graphics card does not support greater depths than 24bpp so I cannot test with 32bpp.) Additional info: * maelstrom 3.0.6-2 openttd 0.5.3-1 * video card is: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Neomagic Corporation NM2360 [MagicMedia 256ZX] * Attached is my xorg.conf Steps to reproduce: Run openttd or Maelstrom . Screen has a reddish layer, as can be seen from this screenshot: http://asuka.fi/u/jpaalija/tmp/openttd_red_screen.jpg |

Sorry for the late reply. I actually couldn't test this, because the wlan has gotten very flaky (I suspect a hardware issue). I have also bought another laptop (TP R61i), so this doesn't affect me that much :) However, I'd say lets keep this bug open for a couple of months at least; I might dig up the old laptop and test again.

It seems you never got around to testing this again so I will close this for now
