Perl was rebuilt with multithread support. So actually we tried to rebuild all Perl modules to suit the new layout. Please, if you come accross packages which need a rebuilt, file a bug report.

Is there anything that can be done to allow users to comment on bugs they've created?? Once I hit "Add this task", I'm out of the loop on this bug.

Hmm - I can add a comment to this bug. This textarea was not here when I wanted to get my last reported bug closed.

Is this a problem? The new perl uses i686-linux-thread-multi and most (all?) perl modules were rebuilt to use the new location. I don't see where there is a problem. I'll close this task if a specific problem isn't identified/clarified.

The perl I installed a little more than a week ago had only one module compiled for thread-multi. This was most certainly a problem as all of the other packages were no longer accessible.

If all (not most!) have been recompiled and a new perl package made available, then the issues in the is bug have been resolved.

All perl modules that I'm aware of have been recompiled for the new perl @INC. A 'pacman -Syu' should bring your system up to date with all modules located to their new home. If your system is current and you find a module/app that does not work, please submit a new bug report for the specific module/app in question. Thanks! -Eric
