Details
When to it comes to selecting a text editor for altering the
config files in the normal installation method, the
selections offered are nano and vim. This is not actually
the case. Vi is the other alternative, not Vim. This can
lead to the assumption that Vim as been installed. This in
turn creates confusion, particularly over the use of
configuration files. See bug #FS9037. Request the offered
selection is changed to vi on the next release.
Additional info: core/vi 7.1.156-1 (base) Release cd x86_64 2007.08-2.core Steps to reproduce: - Follow the steps in the normal installation method on the 2007.08-2.core installation (not sure if this bug applies to other installation methods). - After selecting to edit config files in the menu, an option to select a text editor is presented. One choice is Vim the other nano. This is where the confusion begins. As the selections are really Vi and nano. Thanks for your time :) |

well seems i forgot to update the dialog while it was splitted
