FS#9224 - udate to git 1.5.3.7-1 broke the existing public repositories on the machine

When upgraded to git-1.5.3.7-1 the public repositories on the machine no longer work. If i try to clone the repositories it doesn't work. Can you please clarify what "the machine" and "the repositories" are? Your message is a bit vague here.
Could you check your pacman log to see what version you upgraded from?
upgraded git (1.5.3.4-1 -> 1.5.3.7-1)
the machine is the computer with archlinux installed
and the public repositories are directories under public_html created by cloning a git local repositories as described here:

The broken repos was deleted :/
