Description:

obconf's install does not set up gnome mime types correctly. also, its depends version for 'openbox' can cause crashes.

Additional info:
obconf package 2.0.2-2

- instructions for setting up the mime types is given on the website:
http://icculus.org/openbox/index.php/ObConf:About#Installing_ObConf

- because of library inconsistencies, the depends field should indicate the openbox version it was built against, rather than 3.3.995. e.g. openbox>=3.4.4

obconf does not have an install file, i know. it should. it should be running a couple things to set up the mime-types for gnome. this is described on the obconf website that i linked to, under "installing obconf"

and this is exactly what obconf does now, what was it reopened for?

oh, okay. when you marked it fixed, the last thing you said was that you didn't understand what was supposed to change, and that obconf had no install file so it couldn't be wrong. very good then. :)
