the new pacman package includes completion functions for zsh. however, in order to work, the file needs to be renamed. presently, the file is located at /usr/share/zsh/site-functions/pacman ... the file must be renamed _pacman to be recognized by zsh as an actual completion file.

zsh pacman completion does work for -Q but not -S as it happens with zsh-pacman from AUR. i would also like to add that bash completion has the same behaviour

Ah indeed, apparently the screen package has the same problem (with the additional problem that the _screen file is already provided by zsh package).

Dan, we just need a simple renaming in PKGBUILD (pacman -> _pacman).

It works for me with -Q, it is completed with installed packages.

I meant that it works one the file is renamed _pacman, obviously

Fixed in my local PKGBUILD, it'll get fixed with 3.1.1 release.
