In upcoming pacman 3.1 packages doesn't have .FILELIST inside the tarball anymore.
Pacman 3.0 doesn't require .FILELIST as well, but displays an error message.
Luckily old versions of pacman are already built to save my ass here. HA!
Uhm... is it worth rebuilding with the old makepkg?
Since there will be more and more those packages (especially when pacman 3.1 hits Testing) - what should we do?
1) post a "Don't be scared!" announcement everywhere
2) release a patched pacman-3.0 package ASAP containing a patch to disable this message.
Opinions?
It's a *warning*, not even an error. So no, I will not be posting any announcements or patches.
Hehehehehe..... *goes and hangs head in shame*
[1] in case no packages will be built with makepkg 3.1 before pacman 3.1 hits core
it's bash-completion, Dan ;-)
