Status as of this writing: not implemented in scummvm 0.11.1-1, no package in testing. Is a .desktop file really needed if it isn't provided by upstream? There are alot of users out there that don't use a desktop "environment", just a window manager.

Glenn, but there are alot of users out there that do use a desktop "environment" too... what's more there is a .desktop file and xpm icon provided by upstream, and Grigorios's PKGBUILD makes use of it.

Ok, then we'll just have to wait for the maintainer to update the package.
