I couldn't rebuild the 8.7 version because the source isn't available anymore, but I built 8.9 instead and it works fine.

Same error here.
8.9 works great without any error.

Assigning to Kevin.

Apparently spamassassin has the same error, but it is Perl_Tstack_sp_ptr?

While jason suggested the symbol was removed, I don't think that's correct. My gut tells me this is closer to an ld.so.conf type problem. That is, the path used to look up symbols for binaries has changed due to perl policy changes, and the @INC array isn't used at the binary level.

Looks like urxvt doesn't have any maintainer, amybe someone should take the task?

Can anyone confirm that perl-archive-zip and it's dependencies also need rebuilds because of perl policy changes?
Comment by Kevin Piche (kpiche) - Thursday, 03 January 2008, 02:36 GMT
Built rxvt-unicode 8.9-1 against new perl 5.10.0

perl-archive-zip will be rebuilt eventually due to directory hierarchy changes but it will still work for now.
