Description:

Not a big deal, but thought I might report as it may be a hang up for some newer users.

e1000 module in all current x86_64 kernels (have not tried on x86) does not detect integrated Intel Ethernet adapter on Intel DP35DP (and other newer Intel?) board(s). This adapter has been supported by the stable e1000 module since e1000-7.6.5 (2007-07-03).

Additional info:
* package version(s)

I bought the board 07/2007 and have been manually installing the updated e1000 module from http://e1000.sourceforge.net/ after every kernel update.

* config and/or log files etc.
