Description: When I run rhythmbox, It crashes at startup giving the following output in console:
amg ~ $ rhythmbox
2c3ab744-6bef-43f7-4b20c17c-6a9f07c6 is dumped

And a Bug Buddy window appears. I clicked in Review Crash Details and it has:
ERROR:dbus.proxies:Introspect error on :1.22:/org/gnome/Rhythmbox/Player: dbus.exceptions.DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remot

If I run rhythmbox in root, it runs ok. I removed rhythmbox config directory and it is in the same situation.

Steps to reproduce: Open rhythmbox and it will reproduce the problem.

Is your user in dbus group? Because this output seems, it can be problem with dbus. And you say - in root, it works fine. So try add your user to dbus group.

Users should never ever be member of the dbus group. Being member of the dbus group is a security risk, as dbus group membership usually means full access to everything that happens on the dbus.

I can't reproduce this problem on my machines and accounts. Do you use any special way to launch your dbus session bus?

there's a popular belief among some users, that dbus & hal group membership might fix some issues.
I guess our wiki should be corrected to not include this misinformation then.
