xchat seems to be working fine here. Do you do anything special to get that error?
Comment by Martin Mortensen (loke) - Monday, 17 December 2007, 23:40 GMT
No I just started xchat and window appears 1 second, and then it's gone crashed. I fetched the error message by using strace.

I get same error, xchat 2.8.4-1, perl 5.8.8-10
Maybe it happens because symlinks that point to "current" in /usr/lib/perl5 was broken.
