Description:
When setting "AlwaysCore" (given as optional setting after the installation of "synaptics") in "ServerLayout" for an input device using the "synaptics" driver, the device (mouse) won't work in X.

I've found that if you replace "AlwaysCore" by "SendCoreEvents" that it does seem to work.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
0.14.6.99-1

* config and/or log files etc.
I don't think that's necessary, description explains the problem (hopefully).

Steps to reproduce:
1) install 'synaptics' package
2) set "AlwaysCore" in "ServerLayout" in the X configuration file
3) start X

Forgot to tell, X didn't seem to output any warnings/errors about the problem.

AlwaysCore is an Xfree86 3.3 configuration option, it's a miracle that this ever worked with X.Org.
