Images in about box in mozilla-thunderbird-0.6-2
and mozilla-firefox-0.8-3 are VERY old.

In taskbar firefox still has mozilla 1.1(I guess) icon

I also noticed that date on "about" boxes differs from
"official release" date. I don't know exactly if that
date means date of build (this case everything is ok)
or it means gecko release date (meaning that we have
one of night builds)

My guess is that somebody rebuild those packages without
removing what was before in source directories, and maybe
that's why we have old icons.

And in this case may be there are also some old source
files that were build into new release, and may be those
files should be in this release.

It's just guessing, but I think you should check it.

thunderbird was rebuilt yesterday with a clean src/ directory... so that's not it... I'll see if I can track something down today.

--enable-official-branding needs to be added to configure to do this...

it doesn't affect functionality, so this should wait for the next "natural" rebuild...

Thunderbird arch package (installed) is about 58Megabytes, and official is only 28M (same for firefox package).
May be on the next rebuild you will remove unnecessary files?

Can you point out what's different? I'm guessing ours includes the build headers or something and theirs doesn't.

Our binary package is only slightly bigger, looks like the includes take up most of the installed space, but compress greatly because they're just text.

It also be nice to put some icons in /usr/share/pixmaps
