DetailsDescription:
The package "xorg-fonts-100dpi" is corrupted on the Dutch mirrors. When using "pacman -S xorg" to install xorg and it's dependency's it also needs xorg-fonts-100dpi, but that package is corrupt on the Dutch mirrors. The mirrors in question are "ftp://ftp.nluug.nl/pub/metalab/distributions/archlinux/" and "ftp://ftp.surfnet.nl/pub/os/Linux/distr/archlinux/". The package is extra/os/i686/xorg-fonts-100dpi-1.0.1-1.pkg.tar.gz. When downloaded, pacman reports an invalid checksum and then quits. As a temporary work-around I downloaded the package from a German mirror and put it in /var/cache/pacman/pkg and then again executed "pacman -S xorg". Additional info: * package version(s): xorg-fonts-100dpi-1.0.1-1.pkg.tar.gz (i686) Steps to reproduce: - Set one of the above mentioned mirrors as default in /etc/pacman.d/extra and fetch the package "xorg" which depends on xorg-fonts-100dpi. One can also try to install the package directly by issuing "pacman -S xorg-fonts-100dpi". Pacman will report a bad checksum and quits. |

We cannot fix this. You have to wait when mirror resyncs - I guess the broken file will be replaced.
