Details

Description:
Wicd doesn't recognize my card anymore it seems.
I can start it after starting dbus and wicd (sudo /etc/rc.d/dbus start && sudo /etc/rc.d/wicd start) and then the program can connect to the daemon.

Additional info:
the pc is a completely up-to-date x86_64 system.
package version of wicd is 1.3.1-10
using ipw3945 drivers, worked previously on the system with Wicd.
wpa_supplicant still works.

Steps to reproduce:
none that i know of, perhaps update and install wicd?

I tried wicd-svn 138-1, and that seems to work. Should i still try the one in testing?

Yes, please. I'd like to know if its in anyway related to the move to /usr from /opt.

Wicd 1.3.3-3 still works after a reboot, so i guess it's solved :-)
