Detailsmissing libncurses in libreadline throws missing symbols (tgoto et. al.) -> readline support for custom packages broken / "ugly" annoyance :-)
CAUSE gnu readline build (arch & from src) broken must edit shlibs/Makefile SHLIB_LIBS = -l ncurses to fix (verify via a ldd !) |

Fixed in readline-4.3-4. Good bug!
