Details
The vbetool program is needed on some laptops (a.G. mine) to
resume the video after a suspend, post it, or enable other
video-bios related features. I have tested the package built
with this PKGBUILD, and it works as expected.
I only added an if to the build section, with a different configure flag for the x86_64 architecture. I am sorry to say I haven't been able to test the PKGBUILD on an i386 system. (as a side-note, I've seen that this package is marked for removal from the repos, which is a pity, as it is needed for quite a few laptops to resume correctly from suspend.) |
