DetailsSteps to reproduce:
Install mplayer using pacman. Play media file using mplayer. Press the 'o' key to turn on the OSD. Note that OSD is mostly missing (just an arrow). Steps to resolve: Install ttf-bitstream-vera using pacman (supplies Vera.ttf, which /usr/share/mplayer/subfont.ttf points to). I assume this is a problem on x86_64 as well, but I haven't checked. |

I can confirm this issue and solution - mplayer dependencies need fixing.

mplayer 1.0rc-2 in testing is still missing this dependency.
