DetailsDescription:
after the last upgrades (testing enabled) all usb ports but one stopped working. according to lspci i have a nVidia Corporation MCP2A USB Controller and the error messages when i try to use an usb device (printer for example) according to "dmesg" are (device descriptor read/8, error -110) Additional info: * package version(s) fully updated system (including testing) as of now. * config and/or log files etc. ---dmesg usb 3-6: device descriptor read/8, error -110 ---lspci -vv (attached) another note: lsusb takes ages (1 minute or so) to complete.... |
This task depends upon
lspci_vv
is it fixed in kernel 2.6.23.9-1?
anyway, after a kernel-upgrade usb started working again. So i guess this one should be closed.
