DetailsSince the core update I have been experiencing some odd lockups.
Running for example winecfg results in a lockup before the window appears, running OpenArena results in a lockup before the resolution changes. * Keyboard becomes largely unresponsive (with the exception of SysRq-combinations). * Mouse works sometimes, and might even change the pointer as you move it over different elements of the window manager... for a short while at least. * No response to pings during lockups. * Ctrl-Alt-Delete works after setting keyboard to XLATE mode; doesn't appear to unmount disks properly though. I tried running winecfg in strace, which stopped printing during an ioctl. However, the system might not have crashed that time as I managed to enter keys in my xterm again after syncing and remounting disks read-only. |
