This is probably related to the configurations folder bug which
another user is having(search flyspray). I'll have an update ready
by today.

ok just tried the new package 1.3.1-9 and it does not work I get
the same affect of it going through the connect process over and
over and never actually connects, just keeps cycling through on an
endless loop.

Ok solved the issue...wicd requires dhclient to work. Once I
installed dhclient everything worked fine.

Final report dhclient is what fixed the issue for me...Although
namcap does not list dhclient as a dependency. After complete
reboot all works as it should now.

one more thing for all the icons on the interface to work you need
the gnome-icon-theme package.
