Blender segfaults.

Package Version: blender 2.4.5-1
Arch Linux i686, fresh install as of 11/19
KDEMod desktop environment

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Blender (I opened with konsole to get error message)
2. Open, Save Project, Import (any file type), Export (any file type).

Hello there, this might be the same problem I had.

I solved it by creating ~/.blender/ and then copying everything (including the hidden files) in /usr/share/blender/ to my ~/.blender/ directory.

That worked! Thanks! Now I feel dumb for not reading the post install information in the package :( It might be nice if in the future the package maintainer were to do this step for us for dummies like me who don't read the directions =)
