DetailsDescription:
gparted is creating a hald fdi file (/usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/gparted-disable-automount.fdi) that disable the gnome removable devices support. Since the file is there, gnome doesn't react to pluggable device insertion. Removing such file and restarting hal is what is needed to have the support back. That file is not included in the package, but we might could do something. A Debian SID bug has been opened too: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=434268 |
