I'm unable to start KDE ("unable to start kdeinit") with qt3 3.3.8-6 from testing installed. Everything works okay with 3.3.8-5.

Tried to tackle the problem, but failed so far. I don't see any other people complaining about that, it works okay for others or perhaps people simply downgraded and are happy with that? :-)

I cannot reproduce this problem. Are you using third party repositories? Do you have defined [testing] before all other repos in your pacman.conf? Are you using different mirrors?

No, yes, no. Everything seems correct in my eyes. It's the change from qt3 -5 to -6 that breaks things, looks like some profile stuff? I looked at changes from -5 to -6, but nothing caught my attention.

A thought just hit me - could it be somehow related to my using zsh, not bash, as my default shell?

I can't test things right now, as I'm away from my PC for two weeks. Don't be bothered, until someone else hits it.

It works flawlessly with -6.1. Bug can be closed.
