I have noticed that as soon you launch the xscreensaver-demo Gui cpu usage shoots to 100 % and on my laptop cpu speeds up to max. This wasn't happening before. Additional info: * package version(s) 5.03-1 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: Launch the xsreensaver-demo config gui. |

BTW, I just noticed the package is out-of-date. Maybe it will be fixed in 5.0.4 (once I update the package).
This bug report is more than half a year old and it was probably due to low system specs.
Can this be closed?
It only uses about 10% CPU on a pentium mobile 1,2Ghz.
I think it can be closed.
