Normal mp3 files still work.

Seems to be not the same issue:

If I open audacious in a terminal window, I get the following:

amidi-plug(amidi-plug.c:amidiplug_init:97): init, read configuration
amidi-plug(i_backend.c:i_backend_load:107): loading backend '/usr/lib/audacious/Input/amidi-plug/ap-alsa.so'
amidi-plug(i_backend.c:i_backend_load:145): backend /usr/lib/audacious/Input/amidi-plug/ap-alsa.so (name 'alsa') successfully loaded

And if I want to play a mp3 stream:

** (audacious:8531): WARNING **: could not open 'http://213.246.42.79', no transport plugin available
Unable to read from http://213.246.42.79, giving up.

Well, those 'failed to load plugin' messages are normal if you don't have the optional deps for them installed. Do you need jack output, infra-red control, paranormal or projectm visualizations, or neon transport? If not, you can ignore those messages - however, as for trying to play an mp3 stream, I think you need neon. Try installing it.

Thx, installing gstreamer0.10-bad-0.10.5-2 neon-0.27.2-1 and gstreamer0.10-neon-0.10.5-3 did the trick.

I'll change the install notices so that it's clearer what neon is for.
