DetailsDescription:
Keyboard leds don't work properly in xorg 7.3 (currently in testing) See the upstream bug report here : https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12434 In comment #17 , a patch is proposed : https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12434#c17 And according to comment #18 : "It's a perfectly fine patch to put in distributions for the time being though, so, thanks." However, I couldn't test this problem and the fix myself, I do have a desktop pc with external keyboard, but I'm not using testing there. This issue was reported to me by a friend, but there are maybe other arch users which can confirm the issue, and confirm the above patch fix it. Note that this led issue was also reported in |
This task depends upon
FS#8758(Scroll Lock remains unlit though). Now, it has just been bumped to 1.4.0.90, and if I understand correctly, this patch isn't needed anymore.
berbs, you confirm this, right?
Currently the patch is still applied, and well, it doesn't seem to harm anything, but it it isn't needed, it should probably be removed.
