Description:
I have Kopete configured to automatically set status to "away" after 5 minutes of inactivity, but this stopped working recently. It just never changes automatically to "away".

I guess it is related to another bug I'll file apart from this where the same happens with KDE screensaver. It should blank my screen automatically after 8 minutes of inactivity, but it doesn't work anymore.

I have all packages up to date (kernel 2.6.23.1, kde-3.5.8).

Steps to reproduce:
1- Set kopete to change status tu away after 1 minute.
2- Wait 1 minute without touching the computer.
This task depends upon

is working here with normal stock kde 3.5.8 packages, would you try a new user?
perhaps your config is broken somewhere

Yes, it must be something in my config. With a new user both Kopete and screensaver work.

Sorry, and thanks for your help.
