DetailsI upgraded xorg-server from 1.4-3 to 1.4-4.
I have an Intel graphics card so I use: xf86-video-intel 2.1.1-2 I use the latest Gnome 2.20.1 I was only using xorg-server and xf86-video-intel + required dependancies from Testing, but I ran a full pacman -Syu with Testing to be sure it wasn't a conflict between testing/extra packages. Now when I click icons on the gnome desktop they don't appear to select. When I launch nearly all applications, only a the background colors get drawn - none of the text, icons, etc. The applications remain operational, but you're operating blind (clicking where buttons *should* be). Before the upgrade everything was working fine. If I use a window manager other than Gnome (have testing 'ratpoison' and no window manager), it works fine. |
This task depends upon
ratpoison
kde
no window manager
It appears as if this problem is limited to Gnome
