There is a bug in conky-1.4.7 causing an error again kernel 2.6.23, apparently due to the new scheduler. The bug is corrected in conky-1.4.8 Please update the package. The error looks like : conky: timed_thread.c:153: timed_thread_test: Assertion `p_timed_thread != ((void *)0)' failed.
